UPDATED 10-30-2023!! SO MUCH LOVE for this urban fantasy series!!
Cay: Alpha and Omega.
Its absolutely BRILLIANT.Jan: Patricia Briggs is excellent …She’s a must-read. If you want to just try her out, her Alpha and Omega novella is an excellent intro and sampler of her style.
Tessa: I loved the Alpha and Omega series. Anna and Charles are so swoony together. …She was so strong in spite of her circumstances and he was her savior, but her heart and gentleness was what he needed. *happy sigh* …Yes, he’s an alpha werewolf, but he’s sweet and protective of Anna. She needs it, honestly, and comes into her own, getting stronger emotionally through each book. It’s one of my all time favorite couples because of his gentleness and push they both give each other to be strong, caring, and the best person they can be.
Ruby: I also enjoyed her Alpha and Omega Series. She shows a different side to the werewolf society and the paranormals that they have to deal with.
As per the author:
This series is set in the same world as the Mercy Thompson Series, but on a slightly earlier time line. It begins with a novella titled Alpha and Omega published in the On the Prowl anthology. The decison to continue the story was made after the anothology had already been published, which has caused some confusion, since “book 1” is a actually a continuation of the short story. The series has plenty of action, but there’s more emphasis in on the romantic attraction between the hero and heroine. On a romance-readers scale, this series is sweet rather than steamy.

I am at a loss. I have read almost everything and begging for more. I am addicted to shape shifters and the imfamous vampyre. if you have any ideas please feel free to let me in.
I have just started CRY WOLF, do I need to read On the Prowl first? I am really looking forward to reading yout novels and would like to start off on the rifgt page so to say….
Tonya, if you’d like to get the “full” effect of the story as it unfolds, I’d start with the short story in the On The Prowl anthology…
As the reading order guide lists, here.
I hope that helps.
I’m slightly confused. Wouldn’t ‘shifter wolf’ go under the ‘sianim’ series and not ‘alpha and omega’? Because from what I’ve read about it online it’s just the first two books (Masques + Wolfsbane) in the one. Is there going to be anything related to the Alpha and Omega series in it?
Right! Thanks Jordan! It was added at a time when the Amazon description was not yet available. However it has since been removed from the list now that it is apparent what series it will be a part of.
*MandiDark* – Does anyone know/heard if she is continuing this series with another/more books? I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! I’ve looked online but can’t find an answer 🙁 Help, I want more lol

I have read all the Mercy Thompson and Alpha Omega series books. Loved them. I look forward to more of both series.
Thanks for the read.
I just finished reading cry wolf and it is one best fantasy books I have read in a long time. I like the storyline, the complex characters, and twist and turns. Most importantly, I love how the love story was portray without it filled with sex scenes. it is hard to find a book about love like that nowadays. I will like more love stories from the writer. Maybe a love story between Asil and sage, Samuel and mercy or even Bran and leah.
You should read the vampire academy books and the house of night books
