I’m trying to find an MC romance (part of a series) I read on Kindle Unlimited. Here’s what I remember:
– The heroine pretends to be a club girl — she hangs around the clubhouse acting like one — but she’s secretly looking for evidence to keep the hero out of trouble.
– The hero doesn’t know what she’s really doing and gives her a hard time / treats her like she’s just a club girl.
– When she leaves, she writes him a note.
– After she leaves, she goes to a cabin to keep researching and digging for evidence.It’s driving me crazy — any ideas?
