Reader Question… Solved! The book about the woman that saw her man texting another woman… and she has moved on from him but he has not.

Rene is looking for this book. Ohhh second chances?? Or marital strife? Or all of the above? What was he doing texting another woman? Grrrrr!

She asks:

I am trying to remember the title of a book.

A woman was with (I think married??) to a man who was texting with another woman (maybe her friend) and she is now with a new man and wanting to get married.

I think the ex is a doctor. He never really moved on at all.

This one is driving me crazy! Any idea of the title?

Anyone have a guess?

Molly: I’ve read this book, but can’t remember the title or author. More info might help. H&h were married, and the h caught the H texting with her BFF. The H & BFF had only kissed, but was an emotional affair. The h divorces the H and moves away, meets OM and wants to get married.

The h & OM come back to the town where the H lives. The H and the BFF did have an full on physical affair after the h left town, but it didn’t work out. The H is a dentist, and the BFF is the receptionist in his office. Lots of angst and drama, the author does an excellent job of making you feel the h’s heartbreak about the affair between the H & BFF.

Molly: Even more info, the h’s dad was a cop, and so was the H’s brother, and the h’s new fiance. H’s sister had been best friends with the h before she moved away. Also, the BFF’s name was Lucy.

Molly: I remembered the book! It’s Pieces of Us by Hannah Downing.
