Renee is looking for this one! And YAY Renee!! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. It made my day!! 😀
This question has a pretty remarkable description, so I have NO doubt our historical romance aficionados here will recognize it.
She asks:
Hi!
Thank you so much for your website! i go to it a lot!!! And i tell my friends about it as well.
I am trying to remember a certain historical romance that has a scene where the young woman who was chosen to marry the Earl, arrived to her wedding wearing a black dress with coins sewed all over it (she felt that she was chosen simply for her money).
I desperately want to reread it!!
Renee
Anyone know it?
Diana: Ohh this sounds good!
Hillsong: That sounds awesome – hope someone can name this one!
TL Gabby: The Taming by Jude Devereaux. She wears a long veil of coins because she feels she was married for her money.
