“One series that I found by accident (my wonderful husband saw it at the library and checked it out for me) is the “Nice Girls Don’t have Fangs” series by Molly Harper. She also wrote a werewolf series that is good as well. I laughed out loud throughout all the books. Smart, funny female accidently turned into a vampire with the same family drama and relationship issues we all have.”
As per the author’s website describing the series:
She’s single, almost 30, and a librarian working in the small Kentucky town where she grew up. This “triple whammy of worry” has made her a permanent fixture on her Mama’s prayer list. And despite the fact that’s pretty good at her job, she just got canned so her boss could replace her with someone who occasionally starts workplace fires. She drowns her sorrows at the local faux nostalgia-themed sports bar and during the commute home, she’s mistaken for a deer and then shot by a drunk hunter. And then she wakes up as a vampire.
And thus, Jane Jameson and the wacky denizens of Half-Moon Hollow were born.

Kay Hooper had been my first and favorite paranormal storyteller for years.
The “Bishop Series” are about an FBI unit with “special” agents. Each book introduced new & interesting characters with varied paranormal skills. She makes murder, mayhem & romance a great treat.
I’m a long haul truck driver. I listen to audio books, found this series on Jane, other drivers think I’m crazy driving down the road laughing hysterically…
Ok its killing me, I have looked every where. What is the first book? I download a witch’s handbook to kisses and curses book 2. What is book one. I have all of the Jane Jameson books. But this seems to be a spin off and in half-moon hollow. What is the first one? I have driving Mr dead and care of stray vampires. Is it one of those? Help plz and Ty.
@Vanessa, the first one to the spin off would technically be Driving Mr.Dead but really it would be The Care and Feeding of stray vampires since it is longer
