Reader Question – The shifter book where they were a team, fighting another group, and each book had the name of the main character…

Kathy is looking for this one. Ohhhh shifter books and back then we were reading so many!!

She asks:

Looking for a book I’ve forgotten the name and author of. I read a book series in the early 2000s maybe 2010 about shifters.

I think they were cat shifters but that’s not the part I liked. Lol.

They were a team of some sort and they were fighting another group. There was a doctor in the group and his book was about him trying to to resist his attraction to another character in the series who was a younger woman (also a shifter?) who was a new recruit.

They all lived in the same compound almost, like a dorm?

Each character had their name on the front of the book.

I’d like to reread them to see if they were is as good as I recalled or not. Also I remember in one of the books where they get attacked at their own building or compound. I think it takes place in a city and not a rural setting.

Anyone have a guess?
