Reader Question…Solved! The mafia book about the rancher that takes her when he realizes her husband abuses her…

Aimee is looking for this one! Oh how I love. a protective Hero.

She asks:

Hi,

I am looking for a book I read several years ago.

I don’t have a lot of details but The main guy was a rancher but also head of an organization (like mafia type). The main female was married but the husband was in trouble with the main guy. The main guy ended up taking the wife once he found out she was being abused.

She ends up being an author that writes a story about her past.

This is part of a series.

Any help would be appreciated!

Have a guess?

Rae: Sovereign by Raya Morris Edwards?

Maria: i just finished this one… i don’t think it was mafia? (i read so many books….not a problem) but he is the guy to worry about and his mountain and decides she is his. will start next soon. Red Bird.

Rae: it was good.

Aimee: I actually found it. It is Whiskey & You by HJ Bellus, but it has been removed from Amazon. Thank you for the help.

Maryse: Thank you for letting us know, Aimee! It’s actually still available on paperback on Amazon, so we still get a chance to read it. YAY US!!!
