She asks:

Hi,

I am looking for a book I read several years ago.

I don’t have a lot of details but The main guy was a rancher but also head of an organization (like mafia type). The main female was married but the husband was in trouble with the main guy. The main guy ended up taking the wife once he found out she was being abused.

She ends up being an author that writes a story about her past.

This is part of a series.

Faheema is looking for this book! Ahhhh the golden ticket. I used to be obsessed with those. I remember the days when I was a kid and wanted to find the golden ticket SO bad in the Willy Wonka stuff. Or was it Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that I’m thinking about, and I was just “Charlie” for the entire time that I read that book, that I felt as if it were me looking for that ticket?

Ebby needs our book help! Sounds mayyyyyybe like it could be an age gap book?

She asks:

Forgot the name of this book.

Heroine just recently moved in with her Aunt/Godmother after the death of her mother.  Heroine took care of her mother for years, and  now has the chance to go to college/nursing school.

Anyway, Aunt has a party and heroine meets hero who is attracted to her, but thinks she is underage. Hero might be cowboy/ farmer.

If anyone has a clue, let me know.
