This book was SOOOO much fun, and from the POV of an unabashed playboy/player/bad boy extraordinaire… just made it that much better! I cringed and giggled and blushed (and crushed!) throughout (check out my review). And these fellow readers agree! Lucky for us, there’s been a recent “novella release” PLUS, two more books on the way! 😀
Laurie: Have you read Tangled? Funny, sweet, self centered a hole
Kelly: I am approx 70% through it and I can’t stop laughing out loud. “Drew” is hysterical. Emma Chase has nailed the guys perspective. It’s so funny that I started reading it to my hubbie and he is laughing out loud too. I wonder if he’d like it if I read the sexy parts to him. Hmmmmm
Tonya: Tangled! Started reading it after work and finished at 4:30 in the morning!! It was soooo worth it though!!
Joy: if you want a SMART, SEXY, AND FUNNY READ I highly recommend TANGLED BY EMMA CHASE! It’s like Wallbanger meets Beautiful Bastard. I laughed my arse off from first to last page! And I had to highlight almost every page, ALMOST! I’ve not yet enjoyed reading a book in a guy’s pov until this one. It’s just too good not to share! Take it from someone who had an all-nighter yet opted to read and finished the book! 🙂
About book #1:
Drew Evans is handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed? He’ll tell you he has the flu. But we all know that’s not really true.
Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.
Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

Holy Frigging Matrimony is frigging hilarious! Drew’s head makes so much sense from his POV, but then the real world steps in and nothing turns out quite like he plans or means for it. This little novella reminded me how much I’m looking forward to Twisted!
Couldn’t agree more!! Emma Chase is brilliant!! I loved Tangled and Holy Frigging Matrimony and can’t wait for the others to be released!!!
Yes, Tangled (and Holy Friggin Matrimony) were so good. I loved that the book was in Drew’s POV and I will say I think Emma Chase nailed it. This book was LOL hilarious:)
Tangled! I’d never laugh so hard while I’m reading ..Drew is killing me..lol When feeling sad, read Tangled and Drew will lighten up someone’s day! 😉
Hi Maryse! I looooove Tangled! Drew is just sooo adorable. Anyway, just wanted to drop by your blog because some few years ago, I discovered your blog when I was crazy over Beautiful Disaster. So you’re actually the one who recommended Fifty Shades to me, way back when it wasn’t the bestseller / movie-in-the-making hoopla it is today.
I can’t wait to see your review of the Kathleen Turner series! As well as your thoughts on the final book in the Night Huntress series. I always love your enthusiasm for the books you read. Thanks for sharing your love of reading.
Yikes my above post was in reference to your update for your recent TBR list. No clue how I posted it under your review of Tangled. Sorry
