Kaila is looking for this book! I feel like I’ve read this one…
She asks:
I love your books and I love your page! Its helped me find so many books that I never would of read on my own.
I’m looking for this book I read years ago.
The couple was set up on a date and he called her to cancel last minute. She could hear a woman in the background so she knew his excuse was a lie.
Years later they meet and he doesn’t remember her or cancelling on her but she remembers him. He’s doesn’t understand why she doesn’t want to have anything to do with him.
Anyone have a guess?

Think i found it. Charmed by the Bartender, by Piper Rayne.
She meets and has a one nighter with a bartender (however she can’t remember a thing) but then finds out she knows him (6 degrees of separation and all that) and realises there’s a shared history – he stood her up on a blind date years before so her perception of him isn’t a good one and she’s unwilling to give him a chance now that she actually knows who he is…. he has no idea.
He’s at a loss as when women usually find out he’s not ‘just a bartender’ but actually comes from money, they flock…. yet she’s repelled and he doesn’t know why. Circumstances throw them together (his brother and her best friends wedding) and the story unfolds. https://www.amazon.com.au/Charmed-Bartender-Modern-Love-Book-ebook/dp/B01MSD3OFL/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3CT3VR7NUS3MU&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.zY5LbwkTnn3SWOFTFwKJUntSAcvWlxP1BWOuNIBeaSi0_1JqawxebORyG3tKW29RFbZTLLsQzHdMSDSn3Nd4r5JLf9eON0OwvncQGStaDArWGKBJ9qpzALA1kiuL3oEWkibokqmtUTxSVziHqKgYgci_PS2pxh3wblc9X87NWXJqHVu5Dq2K4qqx_0kvJxZ4v2P0TkXJ-Js91cCwaNx7tKTFWFP7n6EPNA_ze-mKZT0.GY-FyLiFNwKbpjAY5Da910h-TxBbmkb9eMnPBhJqpNQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=charmed+by+the+bartender&qid=1717488291&s=digital-text&sprefix=Charmed+by+the+Bartender%2Cdigital-text%2C1063&sr=1-1
