Reader Question – The book where he’s sitting in his car regretting cheating on his wife and how life was meaningless without her…

Preety needs our book help!

Ahhhh yes, while I have read this scene in quite a few books (random situations, mind you…) but that old infidelity regret moment, I don’t recall this one specifically.

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

I need help looking for a cheating romance book where the male lead cheats on the heroine but regrets it and wants her back.

The book starts with a scene where he is sitting in his car (I can’t remember if he was alone or sitting with some random woman) and thinking about how he regretted cheating on his wife and how his life was meaningless without her.

I think it had been a few years since they broke up and he regretted treating his wife horribly (he had let his success get to his head).

He is determined to win her back.

Any help would be really appreciated! I’ve been looking for this book for a few years now.
