It sounds like forbidden/unrequited love… but so much more. Eeeeeep!!
“As bad boy rocker, Jesse Winslow, and former pageant queen, Kylie Martin, each fight the demons screwing up their lives, the one person who holds the key to healing their ills and reuniting two souls that have searched for one another, lifetime after lifetime, is the only one who knows the whole truth.
And keeping that truth from them may just be in preeminent psychiatrist Dr. Claire Stoddardβs best interests.
Claire has committed the ultimate sin in the medical world. Sheβs fallen for the one man sheβs forbidden to love.
Her patient, Jesse Winslow.
And sheβs not about to lose him to Kylie Martin… Again…”
And she’s sent over a “Five Fun Facts” about it, to let us in just a little deeper. π She says:
“Writing LOVE ON THE EDGE OF TIME was totally different than any of my other writing experiences⦔
2.) Part of my research for writing this book was attending a 3-day workshop on past-life regression. People all around me that weekend were being regressed and having successful regressions, and they saw βthingsβ β¦ Me, well, I didnβt have quite as much luckβ¦ I kept falling asleep and couldnβt remember anything (but since I donβt sleep well at night, the naps were a treat).
3.) I stopped three times in the middle of writing LOVE ON THE EDGE OF TIME and wrote and published three other books: Henry’s End, Slave to Love, and The Do-Over.
4.) When I started writing it three years ago, I bought a cover photo of a model and had the cover created. As I wrote the book, it became clearer and clearer that the model in the photo was not Jesse Winslow, and I needed a new man! After an exhaustive search that took months and months, I finally found the right guy. The new model has been going through a spiritual redirection in his life, much like the male character, Jesse, and I knew that he was the right person for the project.
5.) Chocolates from the UK are my favorite thing to eat while Iβm writing. Galaxy Minstrelβs are my addiction β they keep me very focused.
Awesome tidbits, Julie, thank you so much!! I laughed about the naps, and am so intrigued about the actual model and his personal redirection (I’m curious to know more about that!). And I love that you stuck by writing this story, despite publishing others.
I love stories of reincarnation and destined, soulmate love stories, and this one sounds like it’ll be tumultuous with that forbidden/unrequited love “feel” that I’m getting from that blurb. It sounds AMAZING!!!Β

Love Julie Richman’s writing. The Do Over was a great read and really tugs at the heart. Love on the Edge of Time’s synopsis sounds like a read I will “tip toe” around. Lol. Big girl panties kinda read!!!! Maryse I agree the model has me intrigued. He looks vulnerable and delicious.
He’s got a young… Viggo Mortensen look to him. π
O. M. G.
OOOOO. MMMMM. GGGGG!!!!!!!!! MINE!!!!!
I was reading the blurb and thinking, “huh, okay, sounds like a familiar theme but still intriguing.”
Then…THEN I read the last few sentences and HOLY MOLY!! Do I sense some potential angst??
We SO have to do a BR with this one. π
YES!!! AMY. The last sentence (or few) got me too. BIG TIME.
Now THAT is what I call a blurb jolt!!! π
I started the book this morning, and just finished it! OMG! I’m in love with Jesse, and I’m still soooo emotional and just want more! NOW! lol
Sounds soooo good!!!!!
