Three things:
1.) I went to a sweet wedding this weekend and it was sooooo windy! I’m questioning what the pictures are going to look like with all of our hair whipping around like it was. 😂
2.) I’ve been having a beautiful Holiday. An exciting welcome home with my husband’s son from the military for the Holidays, then, Christmas with our family, then the wedding (and merging of two families), and now a birthday coming up, and New Years! And then… my anniversary! It’s been cozy suppers, and get-togethers, and treats and hugs and gifts and smiles for days! What an amazing time. ❤️
3.) I got a gorgeous painting print from Wayfair that ties my whole guest room together (Mostly navy blues and greys but to make it prettier and not sooooo masculine, I added a few yellow sunflowers to the mix) and this painting turned out to be perfection!

I love the painting!! Good job!
1. We have my BIL’s family at our airbnb right now. They were supposed to leave today but asked for an extra night so we’re in the RV until tomorrow. I reallyyyyyy want to go home but couldn’t say no. :/
2. I’m going to attempt to make beef stroganoff in my tiny kitchen tonight, which should be interesting considering I left 2 ingredients at home! Chat GPT says I can wing it so we’ll see!
3. I’m finally reading again. I’m only on book 15 for the year which is frightening! I hope this slump doesn’t continue into 2025!
Thank you!! I’m finally getting the feel of working with wall art. It’s often what ties a room together. And sometimes, it’s what inspires me to create an entire color scheme or feel in a room…just to match the painting. SO. FUN!!! I realized over the last couple of years, that I LOVE decorating. It’s my new creative outlet.
Oooooh beef stroganoff. How did it go in the RV? Are you back in your home yet? How are you dealing/liking?loving? living in the RV? Is it cozy? I feel like if you are a minimalist, it would be perfectly fine.
Speaking of which, I realize I’m definitely in between. In my old house, I was absolutely a minimalist. Here in this new house, everything is decorated per the theme of the house (but I still try to keep it clutter free).
I too, am reading again and it’s feeling good. Still focused on women’s fiction and domestic thrillers though. I guess for me, I’m taking a break from romance ’cause I always know exactly what’s going to happen, and how it’s going to end, so I’m still on the hunt for jaw-droppers and twists.
It turned out really good! So far, if I ask Chat GPT how to make something, it turns out great. Online recipes with “good reviews” aren’t as consistent. And I use AI a lot since I don’t have an oven and have to do all my baking/roasting in an air fryer. I have noticed many of the things I cook can be prepped at home and frozen so I plan to start doing that next time. It’s really hard to chop in there!
I’m fine with the size. It’s very cozy and it’s always an adventure. But I have to stay organized and on top of cleaning. If we keep doing this, I may consider something bigger one day, but it isn’t necessary. My husband goes a little stir crazy though. He needs a hobby! I wish he’d take up reading!
We’re back home for a few weeks. It’ll probably take all of that time to do the laundry my BIL left! 😂😫
Maybe that’s the problem I’m having. Romances are getting so predictable, which I’m fine with if they’re super swoony, but those are few and far between. And I need to be sucked in immediately!
