13 NEW BOOKS THAT JUST WENT LIVE over the last 24 hours and while they all sound so fun, we have a trilogy confusion, a duet conclusion, and there’s one that down there (that Scottish one) with that cover that has me swooooooning. *fans self* Holy. Moly. Who is THAT model???
Three things:
1.) I had a ton of luck going to Homegoods this weekend! There were a few things I had my eye on in the past that were no longer there when I went back, and this week, everything I wanted was there. YAY ME!! Plus I had a $30 rewards certificate so it made my shopping trip that much sweeter.
2.) I found one of those cool driftwood pieces that has a melted glass bowl on top of it. It looks a lot like this one, but they stained the driftwood with a matte white-ish finish and it looks so great on my similar-white console table. Now… to figure out what to put in the bowl. Probably going to beach-theme it out with some beach combing finds over the next few weekends (one of my favorite things to do).
2.) I found a cool huge mint-colored bottle that matches two glass bottle vases next to my “bar” area, and it looks like a bar bottle, so theme-wise, it works! It even has a glass topper. SO. CUTE! *fingers crossed* my dog doesn’t knock that adorable topper off of it with his crazy-happy tail.

I love Home Goods! I love finding Murano glass there! Not sure if it’s real, but it’s pretty so I don’t care!
1. I finished The Good Part a couple days ago and loved it! It gave me Seven Year Slip feels!
2. My poodle is sick again, so it was a longggg weekend with very little sleep. I think I clocked 3 hours (maybe) in 2 days. I think that’s just where we are with her now. :/
3. I have to have TV on at night for her to relax so I mindlessly turned on 13 Reasons Why and ended up getting hooked. The subsequent seasons are kind of ridiculous but I’m still addicted, none the less. I also watched a lot of Ted Bundy over my sleepless weekend and I swear he’s got to be the scariest of all the serial killers.
Wait… what’s “The Good Part”? Did I not post it? Now I need to look it up. Thank you R!!
Also I’m sad for your sweet poodle. Having dogs is wonderful and fulfilling and heartbreaking. Today makes one year that I lost my sweet Pimmie (she was 14) and my sweet Hobbit is 17, and has good days but also bad days, and it’s so hard. But when she’s good (which is often), she’s so happy and bouncy and silly and is my little scavenger under the table while we eat, looking for scraps so… I feel like her quality of life is still good.
But then when she’s feeling bad, it can be a few days before I see her old self again. I dunno…
I have yet to find a series to devour. We keep trying anything and everything and it’s all… meh. My latest guilty pleasure is Married at First Sight, because it’s just so crazy, but it’s hard to get my husband on board. 😂
I’m so sorry about your baby. Anniversaries have to be awful! Alice is the same. When she’s feeling good, you’d think she was a puppy!
I was completely hooked on Love is Blind so I’m wondering if I’d like that one? 🤔 Are you into space stuff at all? My husband and I both LOVED For All Mankind on Apple TV!
