HAPPY MONDAY AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK!!! We just got our turkey and sides, and of course wayyyyy too many pumpkin pies but that’s big thing here and the ones from Publix are the yummiest so we took advantage of the sale!
Three things:
1.) I’m snuggling with my puppies right now, and they are so hilarious and snuggly and rolling on their backs and pushing me with their legs, and demanding closeness and touch and pets. It’s hard to get any work done, but it sure is nice. I feel so fortunate that I have them.
2.) I bought 2 plants on BOGO at Publix today. Did I neeeeeed two more plants? No. No I did not. Did I want 2 more? BUT OF COURSE!!! Now to figure them out. I think one is a Philodendron martianum (Fat Boy) – OMG look how big it gets!!, and one is an “Alocasia Cuprea aka “Red Secret” – it gets huge as well!! My property is eventually going to look like a jungle and I’m here for it. 🙂
3.) I don’t know how to take care of orchids. At all. It never fails that I kill them and I have no idea how. Also succulents. Other than my Aloe Vera that is HUGE and beautiful, I can’t figure out when to water them. It’s either too much (which is barely at all because I know they don’t required frequent waterings) or not enough ’cause I’m afraid to water them soooo I missed the opportunity… GAHHH!! So none of those for me.
4.) HOLY MOLY I’m so excited about THIS super-bargain and I one-clicked it so hard and fast. I LOOOOOVVVE THIS AUTHOR and it’s a recent release, and it’s FORBIDDEN LOVE. YES PLEASE! Mine! 😀 I posted it at the bottom of this list since it’s not a new release but a bargain find. You can’t miss it. I highlighted it in yellow.
Okay now… time for BOOKS THAT JUST WENT LIVE!!!

The First Spark (Sparkwood: Scenes From A Small Town Book 1) by M.L. Broome <— THEY’RE BUSINESS NEIGHBORS & CAN’TSTAND EACH OTHER! “…Oriana Thorne is a literal thorn in my side—a plucky, infuriatingly gorgeous, pain in the rear who rents the store next to mine. We’ve disliked each other from the beginning, or at least since she marched into my shop and started issuing demands. Needless to say, I didn’t roll out the welcome mat after that meet-hate. I’d love to avoid the woman until the end of my days, but as fate would have it, I need her help. Without her approval, my plan to open a speakeasy beneath our shops is dead in the water...”
The Rebellious Rake (The Notorious Nightingales Book 4) by Wendy Vella <— HISTORICAL ROMANCE!! “…Flora has little patience for handsome men, and Ramsey Hellion is one who believes he should receive universal adoration. She knows first hand the cost of being controlled by a man—she’s lived it. But when danger returns to Ramsey’s life, she has no choice but to act. Even though she’s fought against it, Flora realizes that a life without Ramsey Hellion is one she’s unwilling to face...”
Cruel Union: A Dark Alien Mafia Romance (Brutal Universe Book 1) by Evangeline Anderson <— SHE’S HIS FATED MATED BUT WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM! “…It’s called The Lightning Strike–the feeling a Brute gets when he finds his Fated Mate. I knew Aurora was my Fated Mate, but how could I get her? She’s a Princess but worse, she’s Untainted with pure human DNA–they don’t want anything to do with my kind. I guess I can’t blame her–I’m a criminal after all. A member of the Four Families–Clan Cruel to be exact. Sure we dabble in extortion, gun-running, gambling, and illegal cloning. But that doesn’t mean I won’t do anything in the universe to make the curvy little human mine…”

The Marine: Steamy Military Romance (Black Hawke Security Book 3) by Juliette N. Banks <— SHE’S BEING ABUSED BY HER HUSBAND… “...Briar Sutton is the last person I expect to see on my client’s driveway that day. It’s been months and we’ve successfully ignored and avoided one another. No one knows we have a past. One where she believes I’m a murderer. One where I thought she would be my wife. Now my private paramilitary security crew are working the biggest kept secret in Hollywood – a celebrity wedding – and Briar is going to be there. With her husband. But I’ve seen the marks on her neck and hear the lies on her lips...”
Hope for the Alien Warrior (Treasured by the Alien Book 12) by Honey Phillips <— ALIEN KIDNAPPING!! “...Felicity’s life is safe, predictable – and boring. Until a simple celebration turns into an alien kidnapping, a desperate escape attempt, and an encounter with the most dangerous, unpredictable – and exciting male she’s ever met. Luxor gave up on his dying race the day they gave up on him. Since then he’s lived by his own rules. Until a curvy little female waltzes into his life looking for a hero…”
Whale Harbor Blessings (Saltwater Sunsets Book 8) by Fiona Baker <— THEY ARE BOTH RECLUSIVE NEIGHBORS… “…Desperate to escape the scrutiny and gossip that seems to follow her everywhere, she moves to Whale Harbor, planning to live a reclusive life in the small seaside town. But that all changes when she meets her new neighbor, Darla Maroney. Darla recognizes a lonely soul seeking a fresh start, because she was once one herself. And she knows that Whale Harbor is the perfect place to find the second chance…”
