Dirty Filthy Billionaire: A Dirty Universe Novella by Laurelin Paige <— SHE STOLE HER BOSS’S INVITATION… and then she meets her boss’s rival.
To celebrate this release, Laurelin (as well as her publisher, 1,001 Dark Nights) are sponsoring todayβs newsletter and we have a fun tidbit about a certain scene in the book.
The author says:
“…It’s called ππ’π«ππ² π π’π₯ππ‘π² ππ’π₯π₯π’π¨π§ππ’π«π and is a crossover from the Dirty World to the world…”
Iβm damn good at my job.
So if I swipe my bossβs event invitations from time to time, itβs kind of like a much-earned bonus. Heβll never miss them, and I get a five-star free meal in the company of men in well-fitted suits.
But then he shows up at an awardβs dinner that Iβm most definitely not supposed to be at.
Lucky for me, when my boss accuses me of stealing his ticket, a hot swoony man in a tux steps in and says, βShe came with me.β
Now I owe the stranger one, which is totally cool.
Until I discover the hot, swoony man is none other than Steele Sebastian, a rich man with a penchant for scandal.
And the way he wants me to pay him back?
Letβs just say that Steele Sebastian has a reputation as a dirty filthy billionaire, and Iβm about to find out why.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, itβs an introduction to an authorβs world. And for fans, itβs a bonus book in the authorβs series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
And now a “Behind the Books” tidbit about this one!
Q: What scene in this book was the toughest to write and why?
A: The scene in Steeleβs home office was tricky only because I didnβt originally have them go as far as they did before they were, um, interrupted. I decided later that something was missing, and I realized it was there. They needed to really be βbusyβ to make the interruption meaningful.
