HAPPY TUESDAY NEW RELEASE DAY & HAPPY PRIME DAY!!! I’ve been covering Prime Day for so many years now that you’d think I’d eventually run out of things to say about it. And yet… here we are. 😆 I’m actually writing this the night before, which means I haven’t yet gone down tomorrow’s inevitable Prime Day rabbit hole but I’m excited, so I’m preparing this post in advance so I can focus on finds as soon as I wake up. 😂

Yep. Let’s not fool myself. Every year I tell myself I’m just going to take a quick look at the deals, and every year I end up with seventeen browser tabs open and a growing list of things I suddenly feel very strongly about.

So consider this the beginning of what will become my running list of finds. As I discover deals throughout the day, I’ll add them here—things I already own and love, things I’ve been watching, reader favorites, bookish goodies, household finds, and random bargains that make me stop and say, “Wait… that’s actually a fantastic price.”

The things that caught my attention—the genuinely good finds, useful stuff, reader goodies, home favorites, random bargains, and the occasional “well, now I suddenly need this” discovery. The best part of Prime Day has never really been the giant headline deals anyway. It’s the unexpected gems.

So check back throughout the day because this list will definitely grow as I inevitably spend far too much time browsing Amazon.

PRIME DAY SUPER-DEALS!!

By now, you probably already know the “main deals” that are on the forefront of the Prime Day pages, but here’s stuff that I found, personal stuff to me (the list will continue to grow through the day…).

Clinique Almost Lipstick Tinted Lip Balm in Black Honey and Pink Honey <— PRIME DAY DEAL!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BLACK HONEY!! <— 2026 UPDATE!!!! —> “Pink Honey” color IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE HANDS DOWN. It looks incredible and suits me perfectly!! And while both are considered to suit everyone (and Black Honey DOES work for me and I love it), I just find myself reaching for Pink Honey the most because it’s lighter, and fresher and perfect for the fresh clean face makeup look I’m going for. I’ve been using this one for a decade as well (it’s the truth that it suits ALL skin types), but gave my last one to my sister when she was visiting ’cause she tried it on out of curiosity if it would suit her and I about fell over when I saw how gorgeous it looked on her. And she has those nice plump lips so it really showed it off. So I gave it to her. And just re-purchased myself a new one at this price. How could I not. Also… I’m really torn because I’m IN LOVE with the “Pink Honey” color and watched a few videos of people trying it and yeah… I’m a very subtle pink, barely there lip color lover (I like to layer on my buxom tingly plumping lip glosses on it) so I’m definitely wanting to try that one. Yep. I think at that price, I should get one of each. 😉 Annnnnnnd done.

ACTUALLY —> THIS IS THE ONE THAT WENT VIRAL —> Original Luminance Milano Under Eye Brightener Pink <— I saw this fairly expensive product on Facebook reels (or was it Instagram – probably Instagram) about an eye brightener and it worked like magic. It’s pink, and for undereyes so I found it on Amazon (that’s where I saw how expensive it was) and then found a much cheaper version that had A TON of AMAZING reviews so I got it.

AND THIS IS THE ONE THAT I BOUGHT AND I LOVE IT (ALSO PRIME DAY SALE)!!!!!!! —> Catrice | Under Eye Brightener | Conceal & Brighten Dark Circles <— It works EXACTLY as it says it will BUT this is the one I’m going to compare the new one above (PALLADIO), to, that I just bought (and might combine the two). I dunno… LOL!! With a very light touch, I even put it on my eyelids and on any spots on my face that I want to lighten or “blur” somewhat (like dark spots) and it does exactly that. It is my perfection. It feels moisturizing too (I was worried it would be a powder, and powders never do well around my eyes – skin looks terrible when I use it). But it’s more like a balm, so no crinkles or thin skin appearance. I will buy this again for sure, and use it in my daily routine. I like the “clean face” look – I wear mascara & lash clusters, sometimes neutral eyeshadows, a bit of blush and line my lips and add whatever lip color I’m loving, so I when I’m going “bare” for my eyes except for my lashes, this will be EXACTLY what I use all over my eyes. But always under my eyes and on a few spots for sure!

L’Oreal Paris Hair Color Root Cover Up Temporary Gray Concealer Spray Light Golden Brown (Pack of 2) <— I JUST RE-STOCKED!! MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SOLUTION for not being ready to dye my hair yet,but having some greying at the temples and surrounding area. So THIS fixes it. And a TWO pack is on Prime Day sale so I got this color. Normally I get light brown or dark blonde and while light brown I like slightly more for the depth, I always wished I had an in between and I had NO idea a “golden light brown” existed so I am so excited to try it. Light brown is a bit too dark and cool for my actual color (I really have to have a light hand), dark blonde is a bit to light and meh for my hair color – that richness isn’t there, and well.. the “red” is WAYYY too red for me (I was once a redhead but apparently not so much anymore). *sigh* So… all that to say I’m SO excited to try it, and I got it on sale too. What it’s made of, how it feels on my skin, and even sometimes, I just put this on, and don’t moisturize. GASP!!! I KNOW!!! 😉 THAT is how good this product is, and I will use it forever, or as long as it exists. I love Korean skin care. I really am living in my best skin right now, and am so proud to finally be set in a great routine.

Okay and MEDICUBE stuff (Korean skincare – I am finally getting in on this “salmon *ahem* DNA 😉 ) with this huge sale going on. 2026 UPDATE: I’M STILL USING AND LOVING THIS —> medicube Salmon DNA PDRN Pink Peptide Serum (since we can layer serums, and I have 4 now including this one – but I alternate morning and night with two in the morning, and then the other two at night). I just got it this morning (came overnight!! YAY ME!!) and put it on. No bad feels, just soft dewy skin, so… so far, so good!

 

 

SOL DE JANEIRO Brazilian Bum Bum Cream<— THIS IS MY FAVORITE BODY CREAM IN THE WORLD! MY HUSBAND STOCKED ME UP FOR CHRISTMAS on this one and the body spray as well (and the coconut one too). Smells decadent and amazing (like tropical fruit but not so fruity, sweet and warmer… richer), everyone stops me to ask me what I’m wearing, and I converted my colleagues at work to it, too. Super moisturizing, and it has caffeine in it I think, to tighten things up. And the name makes me laugh ’cause we call our “butt” a “bum” or for kids, a “bum bum” in Canada.
