Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 03-08-2021

I’m late!! But that’s because I’ve been busy the whole weekend having so much fun. But now here I am, building our early birds list so keep an eye on it over the next hour or so, ’cause I’m adding more as we speak. 😀

THREE THINGS:

1.) I had an amazing weekend, totally loaded in fun filled (yet safe!) activities! Also, fries with yellow mustard, which you all know I love (but since I’ve been fries-free for a couple of years now, I indulged). 😉

2.) Also went shopping with my friend on Saturday and bought stuff to start my “herb garden”. Can’t wait to put it together.

3.) Outback Steakhouse has the best wings that I had never tried before. Kookaburra Wings are YUMMY!

You’ve had such fun weekends lately, I’m living vicariously through you!!

1. I’m reading A Rogue of One’s Own. I got this BOTM so long ago and while my new ones came today, I wanted to save them for a bit. I can’t focus very well right now so I needed lighthearted read.

2. My girl and I sewed all weekend. Well, I cut and iron and delegate, she’s the muscle. Finished up some masks, lots more to do over the next few days and also made a couple bows for the dog and cat collars. Love doing those, will be doing more sizes next weekend.

3. My laminator disappointed me. It bent the bookmarks. Like, curled sort of. Not horribly bad, but 🙁. And worse, the heat, I suppose, changed the colors of the paper. Enough that it bled these weird spots of color where there shouldn’t have been. I can’t adjust anything on it. So, I grabbed another, cheaper one to compare before I decide to send it back.

Tasha I just LOVE all your crafting. Bummer about the laminator, but I bet you’ll get the kinks worked out.

Darn about your laminator. Maybe the temp was too hot? IDK but it shouldn’t bend the bookmarks or change the colour of your paper. Hope you get it sorted.

Happy Monday!

1. I’m watching the Megan/Harry interview on my laptop right now and it’s so heartbreaking!

2. I really want a Diet Coke or a nap. Or both.

3. A friend is making us chicken tinga for dinner and I am here for it! She made homemade bagels yesterday and I may never let her leave.

Yum!! I vote both. I’d also like a nap, though I’ve been sleeping pretty early lately.
I kept up to date on the interview periodically last night. I found it heartbreaking as well. It’s interesting reading people’s reactions to it as well. Still so much doubt, despite everything.
