HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!! Today’s early birds list includes a book that I just reviewed a few days ago!! 😀 That one to the left is live and here is my Book Review.
THREE THINGS:
1.) I went to an Ethiopian restaurant this weekend and I cheated on my Keto a bit because of the Injera bread. 🙂
2.) I also went to a Cajun-style restaurant (and I cheated on my Keto a bit because of the rice). 😉
3.) I went to the Hard Rock Casino for an hour or so which was my first real experience with a casino. Holy moly it’s quite an ambiance in there. Everyone was masked, and there were clear partitions everywhere, and hand sanitizer stations all over the place, but it was hopping and loud and bright.
LOOK WHAT JUST WENT LIVE !!!

A few new hockey books up there today. I will have a look at them. I’d like to get my teeth into a new hockey series.
I like hockey series too. Which ones have you read?
I liked Kate Willoughby’s In The Zone, Rachel Gibson’s Chinooks, Odette Stone’s Puck Me Secretly, Sarina Bowen’s Overnight Sensation. A few years ago I read and liked Jaci Burton’s play-by-play series and I’m sure there were some hockey ones in there. There’s probably more that I can’t think of LOL. My fav out of these is the Rachel Gibson series. Really good.
What are your hockey favs, Jody?
I’m not sure which ones I would consider a fave… I’ve read most of the ones you’ve listed. I’ve also read Elle Kennedy, Sawyer Bennett, Catherine Gayle, Jami Davenport, Brenda Rothert, Samantha Whiskey, Toni Aleo, Kelly Jamison, Helena Hunting… I’ve tried a lot of KU books.. some I couldn’t get into because of the style or it was obvious the author didn’t know a lot about hockey. I’m picky like that. 😆 It was trippy when I first started reading them and was still going to games.
Not a series but what about Always Only You (Bergman Brothers, #2) by Regnery. Will be doing a BR on that one but I’ve read a bit already & it’s very good!
The Not-Outcast by Tijan – Enjoyed this book. Also hockey and same as above – both heroines experience neurodiversity (love that term).
These have been around for a while…you may have already read them…
Loved the WAGs series by Sarina Bowen.
Zack (Cold Fury Hockey #3) by Sawyer Bennett.
Brooklynaire (Brooklyn #1) by Sarina Bowen.
The Copper Valley Thrusters Series by Pippa Grant (liked book 1 & 3 best) (book covers OTT :).
