Happy Monday and good morning everyone!!! Today’s early birds list is a small one, but I’ll keep my eye out for surprise new releases throughout the day and add them in.
THREE THINGS:
1.) I chose the next book I’m reading. A psych-thriller called You Are Not Alone and I loved books by both of these authors in the past so YAY ME!! 😉
2.) I hung out by the pool all day Saturday, though shaded so no sunburn. 😀
3.) I had the most amazing weekend, but was so tired yesterday that I napped for 2 hours in the afternoon. I was worried that I might not sleep last night because of that but I slept through the whole night hard (and you guys know me and sleep are not best friends). 😉 Not one wake up at all until my alarm went off. YAY! Now I need coffee.

Good morning!
1. All Texas adults are eligible for the vaccine today so I’ve bene up trying to find availability.
2. I binged watched Walker over the weekend. Not my usual type of show, but it’s set in Austin, and I follow a few of the actors who’ve relocated here on IG so I thought it would be fun. It’s weirdly addictive!
3. I missed both pool days this weekend. On Friday we learned a part went out so our pool wasn’t getting salt. Our pool guy shocked it and said to wait 24 hours, then test. Instead of testing, my overzealous husband decided to add chlorine–way too much chlorine. I finally decided skin was overrated and got in about 4pm but couldn’t enjoy it, so gave up. Then yesterday it was cold and windy. There’s always next weekend. :/
Here’s hoping next weekend works out perfectly for pool time!
I’m going to watch more of “The One” series tonight while I prepare tomorrow’s Tuesday new release list. Or maybe Good Girls now that there are a few new episodes to catch up on. YAY!!!
Yay on the Vaccine!! I hope you find it.
Me too! So far, no such luck!
Good luck finding a vaccine signup!!! And the pool….I’m feeling for ya…as mine is still covered 🙂
I’m getting in this weekend, no matter what. Might even start the weekend on Thursday!
Hiiii!! Happy Monday. Short week here bc of “spring break”.. we just get a few days here of no school. And boy do I have a lot to do this week.
I kind of miss psych thrillers, it’s been a little while and I’m getting that itch again, looking forward to seeing how you like it!
1. I cut 77 pieces of fabric yesterday before my hand cramped up and duty called. More of the same today. I’m on a mission!
2. Finished Six of Crows and onto Crooked Kingdom as I’d planned!
3. For a loong time I used to scroll and back scroll and scroll some more looking for the emoji I wanted and where it might be all the while wishing they had a search thing for them. Last month I discovered there was always one there. 😂
LOL on the search!!!!
I’ll definitely let you know what I think of the book.
I just updated the comments plug in so now I’m making sure the comments are still working.
YAY!! So far so good. Let me know if you guys have any issues commenting… but all looks good.
1. Tomorrow, I’m getting a “real” haircut at a hair salon! It’s been 4 months because of the lockdowns between the 2 cities where I’ve been living. So happy! 🙄☺️
2. Lots of buzz with friends & family about whether to take the AstraZeneca vaccine…side effects, effectiveness, long delay with 2nd dose…gah. My head hurts.
3. I’m finding great books to read these days…it’s like they’re coming out of the wood work. Savage Lands series (Stacey Brown) Angel’s Blood series (Singh), Priest (Simone), Sins Duet (Reiss) (rock)… Will report back later…
Is that what is offered in Canada?
I ended up with the moderna because they’d ran out of Pfizer. First dose a sore arm, it gets pretty sore. Second dose I woke up with full body aches and a temp took some aspirin and slept and was fine that evening.
How long did your arm hurt?
For me …..maybe two days? I know some have it for longer. The second dose symptoms I was glad to get because, idk, I thought it was cool it was basically the first doing its job.
there’s Moderna, Pfizer & AstraZeneca. I get a sense that there’s more AstraZeneca…
In Belgium we don’t have enough vaccines. Only a small percentage of the population have been given their first dose. Really frustrating the Pfizer plant is situated one town over 🙁
We are now in our 3rd lockdown, curfew since October. Travelling is forbidden, we are only allowed 1 contact outside of our own bubble. My mother hasn’t seen her grand and great grand children since February 2020. It’s hard to stay positive.
I’ve been reading ‘Confessed’ Nicola Rendell. Really funny, just what I needed.
The 4MK thriller series JD Barker scary and original.
Stay safe everyone and Maryse thank you for your blog, it keeps me sane
That is frustrating and scary.
Even with the vaccine rollout going well here it does look like we maybe, probably am, entering our fourth wave. Too many states rolled back precautions too soon.
So frustrating and so scary.
It felt like you could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and now we are potentially fumbling it.
Stay safe.
3 Things:
Listening to Dark Wild Night by Christina Lauren. Enjoying the continuing story book 3.
Oregon had a crazy Ice Storm a few weeks ago and we are still cleaning up trees that were decimated.
Looking forward to enjoying a lamb for Easter cooked on an outdoor fire.
