Good morning!
1. I’m reading Butterfly Kisses by HA Robinson (author of The Pebble Jar) and loving it so far!
2. I just discovered a store brand can of charro beans that tastes just as good as the ones I spend all day making and I don’t know how to feel about that.
3. I found a recipe for a mortadella sandwich with hot peppers and toasted bread that I’m making for dinner.
OMG!! That sandwich sounds INCREDIBLE!!!! And what the heck is wrong with this tiny comment box? How weird…
Off to research it.

FYI that sandwich was fantastic and I think it would be fab as a lettuce wrap. I used pre-sliced sourdough and it didn’t hold up, so if I had bread next time I’d want something heartier and thicker. Roasted red peppers (from the jar) are a MUST. Hot peppers however must be different in the UK than they are here. 🤣😆🥵 And I think provolone might work better than cheddar.

I have the tiny comment box on my work computer….
1. I read Colleen Hoover’s Layla over the weekend! I LOVED it…and I wasn’t sure for awhile…truly…where she was going with this book. But in true CoHo fashion, she pulls in all together and wraps it up with a super twisty bow. Yep, if you liked Verity…I think you’ll enjoy Layla. If you’re looking for old school CoHo…you won’t get it here. This one has a paranormal theme blended in with the romance. It may not work for everyone, but I was a fan! Oh…and it releases in December…so don’t hate me for throwing out my excitement so early…but I had to go somewhere with it 🙂
2. I got some pool time in over the weekend – before the storms came.
3. I’m at work…and I’d really rather be reading …

1. Trying to catch up on everything we’ve had cut for weeks with sewing. I had to exchange machines for the one we really wanted, but didn’t have in stock yet. Definitely still working on learning it’s stuff and trying to play catch up. There’s a place to sell, maybe, we’ll see how it goes, in a couple weeks, so really want to build inventory.
2. My groomer said she’d keep her busy and offered to buy scrunchies for dogs in bulk. I’ve never heard of such a thing. There aren’t really guidelines online for sizing so we’re doing a lot of practice runs and I don’t like it. I like my Mom making patterns and telling me what to do. 😩😂
3. I finished Queen of the South and now I dk what to watch. I watched 2 episodes of Cursed last night and it’s just meh so far. And I watched Desperados, it was pretty funny. Kind of over the top/crude funny which is always a bit of a turn off for me. Now what? Maybe I need to hunt down the perfect book for my feels. I started A Southern Guide to Vampire Slaying. Not far at all. I need something dark. And intriguing, that keeps me interested and super invested. Some romance sprinkled in would be great too.
LOL!!! I’m the same way. My mommy is my confidante and my teacher!! Still to this day.
Right?! This is why I know I’m not really an adult. Just playing pretend. 😂 I honestly don’t think I could function without her.
Oregon finally has summer. We are farmers and we need sun to grow. Three things 1. its hot here:) 2. My boy is setting up a zip-line and a small project became a big project with a pond and all. 3. I am reading Kind of Libertines by Pam Godwin. It was a freebie after I read the Sea of Ruin. I became a fan of Pam after reading the Dark Notes. It was one of my top 10 a year or so ago. All her books are so different. This is about sexy pirates!!!

THE MAN WHO HAS NO LOVE HAS JUST SHOWN UP ON MY KINDLE. This is the 3rd book in the series and I am just loving it. The next and final book will be out in a couple of weeks. The h has a job that I found interesting. I always like to read a book and learn about someone’s career.
