THREE THINGS:
1.) My Canna Lily’s just doubled in size and now I have a ton of pretty flowers this week. I love looking at them!
2.) I’ve discovered that I love greek yogurt (plain) and mixing it with dill and some salt and pepper and a bit of lemon juice, and just dipping hothouse cucumber slices in it. SO YUMMY!!! What a treat!
3.) All my plants are still alive and thriving and that makes me feel proud.

That’s some mixture! I have found that I’ll only eat the Chobani flip yogurts bc there’s so much crap in them, it doesn’t taste like yogurt. 😂
1. Tomorrow the pumpkin spice flavor of the protein powder I like releases. It’s limited, so once it’s gone, it’s gone and I’m really hoping I get 1!
2. I cleaned yesterday. It was horrible. Yet, obviously nice to wake up to today. It’s already starting to go back to what it was, too. 😝
3. Feeling on top of things today as I’ve got supper in the crockpot cooking away. Easy peasy soup. I cut up a sweet potato, put some mixed frozen veggies in, some rainbow carrots, kidney beans, ground turkey, broth, tomato sauce & spices. Gonna toast the herby bread I got from the farmers market with it. 🥣

For plain Greek I love Fage. I just really like the taste and texture of it.
But I love lemon yogurt. It might be the chobani brand, but can’t remember.

That sounds like a faux tzatziki! Which might come in handy since my store only carries tzatziki half the time, and now I want it on some fish with a greek salad!

It is totally a faux tzatziki. I saw it as a “cucumber salad” sort of thing and I thought YES PLEASE!! I can do this easily. It tastes amazing.

I’m about to leave for a hair appt. but I’ll reply as soon as I get back. It is a small island. You can rent a golf cart (a must) and explore it on your own.
Well, I missed my son who left for school 2 weeks ago but I didn’t want to see him this way! Got a call on Saturday that he was in a mountain biking accident. Right wrist (yes he is right handed) is broken in 3 places and needed surgery. Hence rapidly booking flight to spoken to get to the hospital the next day to take him home from surgery. Did I also mention that he fractured his left elbow but thank goodness no cast! He is staying with me in the hotel while I work with Gonzaga to figure out how he will be able to take his classes in this new situation (6 weeks of cast). It is going to kill me to leave him here on Thursday but thank goodness he will be able to stay in school and has met some amazing friends.
OH NO!!! OMG. How’s he feeling? I’m glad he’s will have a support system when you leave, Kathy.
Emotionally, he is having a tough time as he was having so much fun and had made great friends these first few weeks and now can’t do a lot of those activities (mountain biking, climbing, etc) that he and his friends enjoy. I’m nervous for when I leave as he will need to ask for help and that is so not in his make up. My son has a high pain threshold but he definitely needs the pain killers. Going shopping today to find long sleeved shirts and sweatshirts that will fit over the bulky cast.
