It’s getting closer and closer to Halloween!!! YAY!! I just wish someone would turn the heat down a little, here in Florida so it could feel like fall, finally. But, at least there are plenty of horror movies to watch, and you know I love those. 😉
THREE THINGS:
1.) My Sunday project was to install my 24 solar pathway lights (that I got on Prime Day) and OMG I AM IN LOVE!!! I need 24 more and then another 24 more and maybe another 24?? …so I can surround my whole house with them. They are perfection!
2.) One of my rose stems from years ago turned into it’s own super-tall rosebush!! And today, I discovered these tiny ball-apple things where the rose used to be, and found out those are rose hips and full of rose seeds! HOLY MOLY I love collecting seeds!!! More roses coming soon. 😀
3.) I need coffee badly. Like right now. 😉 It was very hard to wake up this morning, I was soooooo cozy!

Good morning! I miss everyone. I haven’t been reading much and it feels so “not me”.
3 things:
1 – I just discovered those telephone cord type hair ties work waaaaaay better than scrunchies. Who knew?!?! My hair is getting wicked long…its just past my bra strap. I want to try to get it to waist length.
2 – Since the start of the pandemic I have been exercising daily with my son to get us out of the house…walking, hiking or biking. I’ve lowered my cholesterol and blood pressure! Yay!!! I wish we lived somewhere without such harsh winter though.
3 – How freaking yummy is peppermint mocha creamer?!?! Omg it makes my coffee even more heavenly .
I’m intrigued by those ties but always worry my hair would get knotted up in them. P.S. I LOVE waist length hair!
Did I ever tell you guys about the time I tried those “velcro” rollers that hold by themselves?
Ugh… yeah they hold by themselves ’cause the hair is so knotted into them that you practically have to cut them out. There were almost tears (and I had just put in 3) and I was all… hrmmm… let me see how hard it is to unroll them.
LESSON LEARNED.
And I love anything peppermint. I’m hoping there’s a sugar free creamer with the yummy Christmas flavors.

I just read a few reviews and while the focus of the story is not romance, there is a love story there too, and it is between a man and a woman.

Ana, it is not an m/m. It is a beautiful story …but it’s definitely a “character study” type book with a love story blended in. I loved it but I tend to like her unique writing style.

Just came back from my bikeride. We have a beautiful park down the street and the fall colors are just gorgeous. The bad news is my stupid bike got a flat!
Oh well, I’m going to tackle laundry and figure out dinner plan while listening to audiobook. I just started On the Rocks by Kandi Steiner.

I’m flying high on the wave of love today which translates into …”I’m not cooking tonight…it’s someone else’s turn.” 🙂 I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m so tired of everything I think of to cook. Blah! (Except maybe pumpkin muffins…but I really need to avoid the sugar!)
Hi Michele!! I’m so sick of cooking I could spit. 😜 Hubs would love those air fryer chicken wings. I dont have room for more appliances though. My instant pot sits on floor in my spare room. Ugh! I’m constantly scouring YouTube & Pinterest for new meal ideas. I think tonight I’m gonna make these pineapple and bacon flavored sausages hubs picked out last time we went shopping. I will make them with peppers & onions and some roasted potatoes.
I’m awful about using my instant pot too. However, my daughter found a white chicken chili recipe for it that I’m trying later this week. If it ends up to be yummy, I’ll let you know! Your sausages with peppers & onions sound tasty.
I’m making your air fryer wings tonight for Steph for the Dallas game. I can’t wait!! I made another steak in it last night. I’m obsessed! And no early voting? Yikes!! Those lines will be long!
I always make bev’s salt & vinegar chicken wings now. I had never heard of that before until she mentioned them and they are my absolute favorite over anything else!! And also in my wonderful air fryer.

1. Tried my first Hello Fresh meals (gift from daughter) with all the ingredients ready and washed. The meals are great so far, and husband is cooking 😲.
– Sweet potato, paneer & green pea curry with brown rice
– Chick pea, sweet pepper, spinach & bocconcini Shakshuka with crostini
Tonight: Roasted cauliflower with bulgur pilaf, tzaziki & greek salad
2. Getting Goodfood meals later this week and then some from Chef’s Palate… 😊 🍷
3. Needed eye doctor appointment with new glasses for couple years. Put off due to covid….rates increasing in my city. So happy & relieved it was a super cautious & safe office with masks & faceshields.
I LOVE the idea of those meal kits!!! For now I’m in food subscriptions (and I have to figure out my own meals), but I think these sound amazing for easy well balanced meals that don’t require any extra shopping (which is my problem… if I end up in a grocery store for a couple of things… I come out with a LOT of things instead).
*sigh*
