Good morning, happy Monday and Happy Veterans Day to everyone and a HUGE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE to all the veterans that have served and are serving this wonderful country!!! ❤️
PROGRESS UPDATE: I was late this morning but now it’s ready!! LOL! I’m obviously taking it easy today and slowly building our “earlybirds” list – I usually work on it Sunday nights, but I was reading a new book (Frayed <— so far so good!!) and I couldn’t help but take my time this morning.
Three things:
1.) In case you missed it yesterday, my latest 4.5 STAR REVIEW is up!! Gasp-worthy and made my jaw drop. TWICE!!! Book Review – Perfect Strangers by J.T. Geissinger
2.) I’m still working on this list as we speak, and will be for the next few hours, so keep checking back as it continues to grow. 😀
3.) It’s 57 degrees this morning and that makes me SO happy! Windows are open and that brisk air smells SO good. AND!! I have a candle burning that’s all of the fall smells that I love.

OMGosh I stayed up so late last night devouring the Parallel duet. (Note to self: don’t start new series right before bed 🙈) I loved it, but it feels incomplete!
I can’t wait to read it too.
Thank you for ALERTING on the spoiler… I took it off ’cause I haven’t read it yet, and I was scared I’d accidentally read the spoiler while working on the blog post.
Luckily I didn’t see much. 😀
And I’m absolutely dying to read this!!!
Did you see the link for the extended epilogue in the back of the book? It didn’t answer any questions but it was fun. Also there will be a spin off book coming next month that I’m hoping answers a few–or puts some lingering theories to rest!
I did. I liked it, but now I have new questions 😜 I reeeally hope she continues the story after the spin-off!!! There’s so much source material here.
YAY!! I’m so glad to see so many are loving the Parallel duet as much as me and R! Now we just need Maryse to read it…
The special epilogue was really sweet, but I definitely still have some questions I need answered…and I’m hopeful the next book will answer them.
I really wanted to read The Tiger Catcher, but I don’t think it would be a good idea so soon after the Parallel Duet. It wouldn’t be fair. 😉
Happy Veterans Day to the vets! ❤
1. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with my hot tub yesterday and realized I’ve been wasting $$$ in propane for no reason!
2. The Browns finally won a game without me shooting touchdown Fireball shots! So yay!! That superstitious trend is O V E R !
3. I’m about 60% into Frayed and still loving it. It definitely feels more character driven than plot driven so far, which I love, but I think that’s about to change. Something’s brewing and I won’t have time today to find out what! 😬
If anyone else is looking for another different read, I also read Shadows by Kristen Proby in one sitting on Friday. I really enjoyed it. And that’s book I see as “scary-ish” as I can go. It wasn’t scary, but any time you deal with hauntings, I’m a wuss. Hahaha Have y’all read it?
Diana, I haven’t read Shadows yet but it’s high on my list!
Three things:
1. I’m trying out intermittent fasting, and holy moly is it more difficult on my day off! Staring at all this delicious food but can’t eat it until 11:00?? At least at work I’m too busy to think about it! 😩
2. I finished The Beginning and End of Everything (well, if you consider skimming 70% of it to be actually reading it) and it was a “meh” read. Beautiful cover fools me again. *sigh* But now I’m reading Before You by Marni Mann and am REALLY liking it. I’m kinda confused but in a good way, and you would think a book written in three different POVs, in first and third person, and in different timelines would be a bit much, but it is working! I’m SO hooked right now. Next it’s Perfect Strangers and THEN I’ll give The Tiger Catcher a shot.
3. Today I’m heading to the mall and taking advantage of all the sales and military discounts!
A big THANK YOU to all who thank a veteran for their service. You have no idea how much it means when a heartfelt thank you is given to them, especially those who have been in combat and have seen some unimaginable events. Again, thank you. ❤️
❤️
Testing for Nay! She says her comments keep disappearing!
Testing 1-2-3, testing 1-2-3… 😂
Yay! It worked! I did a big ole long post this morning, and I know it posted, because I edited it afterward. Then I tried to post again twice a couple of hours ago and both looked like they posted, but when I refreshed the page, they had disappeared.
YAY!!!!! 😀 Hi Nay! *snuggles Nay*
Deep breath.
I’ve been having one of those days were my mind is scattered and I’ve been mixing things up.
I then see this post at the top of the page and had a second of thinking: “Holy shit its monday”🤯
Then came back to earth.
It scared me.
THAT WOULD HAVE SCARED ME TOO!!!
I’m so happy Friday is almost here…
