Elsa is looking for this one! Oh this definitely sounds like something that we would have devoured from our original indie days!

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

I just stumbled upon your blog, and it’s interesting to see a section where we can ask questions and work together to solve them.

I read this book quite a while ago (before COVID, I think, or even longer). It takes place in a university or college setting and is part of a series. The female lead is nearly sexually assaulted, but the male lead successfully saves her. Because of this, the female lead isn’t afraid of him, even though she is traumatized by other people. read more

Rachel needs our book help! Ohhhhh this one is gonna anger many ’cause it’s going to be hard for a reconciliation/second chance romance considering the other women (even if it was after the fact. BUT!! There’s an interesting twist. 😉

Hello.

I’ve been looking for a book and here are some of the details:

MMC is framed to make it look like he cheated. The FMC gets photos of this alleged cheating. They split up and MMC sleeps with others.

FMC is pregnant and has baby. The MMC almost misses the birth, or does because he is sleeping with someone else. read more

And here’s the third book that PJ is looking for. Ohhh I LOVE a book about cults and being stuck in one. Since this is only the first chapter of the book, I have no idea what the premise is, but it sounds like my thing!

She asks:

Looking for a book.

This last one was a yellow cover book. I remember it was around 2004 or 2005 that I read the first couple of pages and was intrigued,  but the book belonged to a patient that visited my practice and she took it with her.

It was a young girl,  like in her late teens that was running away from home.  She was hitchhiking and stumbled upon a cult like group in the woods. They went after her with s knife and I can’t remember if they killed her or not. But that was the first half or full chapter. read more

PJ is looking for this one! This is question #2 in her trio list of questions. 🙂

She asks:

Looking for a book.

This one was a fantasy type action/romance.

There was a group of people that met in a subway station to get set up to go on some kind of mission.  They all had special abilities,  or were mutants or creatures of some type.  The main character was vampire and he was falling for, or in love with, one of the others, and she was Shape-shifter I believe.

Any ideas would be great.
