in Reader Questions

YAY!! Today’s reader question features comedy romance books, and there are plenty of guesses below that sound like SO. MUCH. FUN!!! But I think the Facebook crew came up with the correct answer, and I’ll be sending a note to Suzy so she can pop in and let us know if they were right. :D

So I asked them:

Suzy is looking for a book title… and tee hee!! Her description makes me giggle. She asks:

“Its a book about nurses and doctors she has a room mate. She gets IBS while going camping with him and on the road she runs into the forest he didn’t pack toilette paper and gives her his sock.”

Anyone? :P

Let the laughs begin!

Heather: Lol! Following. Sounds like a crappy book though…… Get it?

Blanca: Lol

Anne: Lol!

Annette: Lol!!

Mary: Sounds so funny . can’t wait to see what the title is.

Brandi: Oh I just read this a few months ago! She’s an ER nurse and he’s the new dr in town. She lives with her best friend in Charlotte I believe and her sister comes to visit when she leaves her husband. I can’t remember the name but I remember it was great. I’m searching for it now!

Brandi: I think this is the infamous series by N.A. Alcorn. Check it out!

Autumn: It’s called Avoiding Amy Jackson (Infamous Series Book 2) by NA Alcorn! It’s hilarious!!! Beyond LMAO

Tessa: One of the BEST rom com series I’ve ever read!! I can’t remember if this is Amy or Ellen!! Help!

Autumn: Amy!!! the second book

Brenda: Would that book be by the same author who wrote Poughkeepsie. D. Anastasia. Fire Down Below?

Ruth: Have read it but can’t think of the name. There are two books, funny as hell, about friends who work in the ER together.

Amanda: These sound funny!

Ruth: “The Infamous Ellen James.”

Maryse’s Book Blog: Thanks guys!!! Now I have a bunch of comedy books to read. LOL!

Brenda: Maryse I know you will have fun reading them. Enjoy your evening.

Barb: Omg! I’m blushing at the idea of that. I need to read this when I am need of a good laugh

Sali: I’m sooooooo getting these now!!!!!  Always on the lookout for a good RomCom series :) ))

Carrie: I love these books!! I don’t book pimp very often but man you need to one click. If you need a good laugh click click click!! The infamous Ellen James and avoiding Amy!

NA Alcorn: How’d I miss this?! This reader question cracked me! My heart is full from all the Ellen and Amy love. Thank you so much!

Now I really want to read this book. haha.

But I have a book that I’m looking for too. I read it over a year ago, maybe even two years ago. It’s about this woman and she gets hired at an adult entertainment (or adult toy) company. Her boss is really hot and I remember that he gives her sex toys to try out as part of her job.
I’ve been searching for this book for waaaay too long and I would really appreciate any help in my search.

I remember this… I think. I only read the first quarter.

He’s been stalking her… forces her… she hates him… he’s mean. She’s the head of the sex toy division and he threatens her that if she wants to keep her job she has to submit to him… DEBT!!!!!

Is it Debt by Nina G. Jones??

Unfortunately that’s not it. :/
It was kind of more light-hearted… but if I remember correctly, she accepted the job even though her boyfriend didn’t want her to take it. It’s driving me insane! I can’t remember what it’s called!

Okay I’ll make a post out of it tomorrow. If you remember anything else, add it in. :)

Thank you! These are just the things I’m pretty sure are in the book because I read another book around the same time and I have a feeling that I’m just confusing the two story lines together.
