Gail needs our book help! Oooooooh a groveling Hero!!!! I’m so curious about this one! I sort of spoiler alerted below (not sure if it’s a real spoiler or not because I’m not sure if the book ends on the last thing she mentions…)
She asks:
Reader Question: Barren Heroine Wants To Adopt But Husband Doesn’t Care
Two friends marry but the hero discovers a son from his deceased Latina first love.
The couple canβt have children and decide to adopt but the hero doesnβt care that much because he already has a child. He ends up screwing up the adoption interview.
Heroine sort of gives up or resigns herself to the marriage and being called Tia by her stepson.

Heβs a journalist and goes away and the heroine pretty much letβs him know sheβs given up on him over the phone. When he tries to win her back, she tells him ‘bless your heart” or something like that.
I think itβs a Silhouette title but could be Harlequin.
Anyone have a guess?
