Reader Question… Solved! The age gap book where she offers to be his muse and he paints her naked…

Mariah has one for us and her question is short and sweet! Hopefully there’s just enough here to spark someone’s memory! 😀

Actually it sparks MY memory somewhat. I’m thinking this was a book from back in 2012 or 2013? That’s when I remember reading it… but maybe this is a newer one?

She asks:

Hi Maryse!

This morning I was thinking about a book I read once but was not able to find it… Maybe you could help me.

I’m pretty sure it was an age gap.

The H was a painter or a photographer and the h offers to be his muse at some point (he paints her naked, I think).

Hahaha that’s the only part I can remember!

UPDATE!!!! Mariah remember something else:

Maryse! I think I remembered something else… I’m pretty sure she was staying with him, he was supposed to have a model over but cancelled last minute so the h offers to be his muse… does this ring any bells?

Maryse: Wait!! Maybe this is the book I was thinking about? Blind Obsession my Ella Frank? Here’s my book review of it. But… there’s ANOTHER one I’m thinking of.

Maryse: ORRR!!! Maybe The Wild Side by R.K. Lilley (though he’s an author not a painter…?). Here’s my Book Review of that one.

Robyn: I know Pepper Winters has the Body Painter series. Could this be it?

Harper: There’s one that they go to a party where his art is being exposed and there’s an older woman (I think is his agent or something like that) that loves the guy, the couple ends up walking the beach outside the party and then they leave in his limo where things get steamy. I don’t remember the name of the series. but I’ll keep trying.

Lauren Runow: In Tanner, the book I co-wrote with Jeannine Colette, she is older and he’s an artist. We have a scene were he paints her naked body 😉

Angela: Teach Me Dirty by Jade West

Jan: This Heart of Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips has a secondary romance between the hero’s mother and a reclusive artist who paints her/sees her as his muse. Both older characters, and it’s an older book. Not quite the same as your description, but maybe?

Also, Chesapeake Blue by Nora Roberts is about an artist who falls in love and paints the heroine who kinda becomes his muse. I don’t think there’s an age gap, though.

Mariah: Hey Maryse! This has been a crazy week. I’ve been going through all these books trying to figure out if they were it… thanks to everyone that helped! Unfortunately none of these were it… but guess what? I opened a book from my library today because I couldn’t remember what it was about and what are the chances… It was it!!!

I really can’t believe coincidences sometimes…. the book is Pretty, Dark & Dirty by Margot Scott… its more of a fun, quick read one indulges in every once in a while hahaha.
