Kim needs our book help! I’ve definitely read this one!!! I remember that scene, I also remember the living room, and the house where this argument happened AND the porch).
This makes me think it might be Sweet Dreams, no (though he wasn’t the Prez of an MC), but he WAS a biker.
Hrmmm… It’s been so long since I’ve read that book (2011? 2012? But, I feel like yes, and I LOVED that book). And if not, it definitely feels like a Kristen Ashley book (the heroine especially). Or was it Motorcycle Man? Either way, I know I’ve read it.
She asks:

I remember itβs about an MC president and both he and the heroine are older.
He has two kids – a teenaged son and daughter – and at some point in the book his daughter is assaulted and his woman takes care of her, but they get into a fight and the hero doesnβt realize he either grips or shoves her too hard before he leaves with his son to beat up the guys.
I also remember the dad of one of the guys who attacked his daughter comes to say he wants to press charges and the heroine stands up to him and puts him in his place. And that scene happens out on a porch?
And the hero grovels to earn her trust back.
Appreciate any leads on this – Iβve been scrolling google and amazon for ages!

Lyzz: Sounds like a mixture of Motorcycle Man and Deacon, both by KA. In Motorcycle Man he has the kids and his daughter gets hit by her older boyfriend. Tack always puts his hand on her throat to feel her pulse. In Deacon, there are kids in a cabin that were making moves on girls that were drugged. The dad of the kid comes the next day to threaten to sue, and Deacon lays into him. He eventually walks out on her but has to grovel to get back in.
Jeanette: It sounds like sheβs combining 2 KA books: The first one where the she takes care of his daughter & then they get in a fight is Motorcycle Man (Tack & Tyra). The second describes a scene in KAβs book Deacon in which the heroine owns a resort where a teen gets assaulted & the Hero has her back when the accused teenβs dad comes to her porch & gives her crap about it. More or less, lol.

Carrie: Still Standing! Tia is being a brat about things, but then gets assaulted & Clara helps her. Buck is enraged at what’s happened & that Clara is “in his way” & he reacts… poorly. I was ticked at that scene for a long time.

A few people got it right – it was Still Standing by Kristen Ashley! I was so stuck on how some of the elements were very similar to her other book, Motorcycle Man, that I completely overlooked Still Standing because I figured.. canβt be the same author π π Β
