I’m looking for a book I read a while ago, can’t remember it but I think a sequel was in the works.

It was about a female archaeologist hired to investigate the Donner party tragedy and where some gold was hidden by a faction of people who left the main camp.

People start being killed off, murder mystery book.

Laurie: Your description sounds a bit like the book Donners of the Dead: A Zombie Western Romance. But it’s a historical novel……. and has Zombies!

Mony: I was just looking at this book and thought it might be the one in this RQ ..looks like a good read. Old Bones (Nora Kelly #1) by Douglas Preston

Beth: OMG! Yessss this is it! Thankyou! It’s such a good book if you like murder mystery, lil bit of history and the possibility of maybe supernatural things.
