Reader Question – The book about the fighter with a dance club & underground fight club, and the woman with a child…

Okay so it’s not “reader question day”, but I think we can help Tami find this awesome sounding book. So I didn’t want to wait until next week. It’s about a fighter!! AND it sounds like it will make us cry…

I have been following your blog for a while now…its my personal little book club that I don’t have time to join or start 🙂

I have been thinking about a past romance I have read (ebook, unsure if it ever came out in print) about a bad boy who starts a fight club (actual building he owns that seems to have the illegal fighting in one part and a dance type club in another I believe), who as a child was held (and tortured) in a facility where he was raised to fight with other boys/men.

Anyways I cannot remember how the woman in the story is introduced but she starts to work for him (or he’s holding her captive because she has seen the fight club part) and she has a young daughter who is sick (*spoiler*)…major part of the story was about how she did not tell the male character about the sickness, and he grows to love (obviously) both the mother and child.

NOTE FROM MARYSE *this paragraph was a bit spoiler-y so I omitted it ’cause I’m sure there is enough info here already to go on*

So that is all I really remember and now want to read it again however cannot not remember the title or author…so even if I have it  my extensive library, no chance in heck of ever finding it!!

Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated!! (I have a book buddy who I share with and usually she is great at remembering titles but she can’t even remember reading that story…we have realised that with the number we have read, stories have begun to blur…now there is a topic!! Oh well, guess this is the price of my addiction 🙂

Awwwww thank you so much Tami for being a part  of our book-club. I LOVE IT too! 😀 And Tami… I feel your pain in the book-blurs. LOL! That is EXACTLY what we are finding is happening to us now. We’ve read SO many over the years, book-binge upon book-binge and now we are merging multiple stories together in our heads. Unless they are incredibly unique or twisty, that is. 😉 Although sometimes… even those… the titles fail us.

So… anyone know this one?
