Oh I like the sound of this one. Second chance romance, a fighter, and they knew each other as children (and sort of “marital strife” I suppose though she’s not married yet). 😉 Some of my favorite tropes!!

I have two books that I have been looking for for years with no luck.
The first one is a romance book about a girl who used to be a foster child along with the hero but the hero goes to jail/juvie and never sees her again. But a couple years later the girl sees him fighting on tv since he wanted to become a professional fighter.
She owns an art studio with an assistant and is actually engaged with a nightmare of a mother in law.
They reconnect when she goes to one of his fights I believe.
Anyone have a guess?
