Gardner’s daughter works as a teacher in the village. He hunt the birds.
He blackmails her to sleep with him.

Soapdish2: I think that’s an older book, from before 2015. If it’s the one I’m thinking of, the h has to return to her hometown because her father is sick and can’t do his gardener duties at the estate she grew up on. Luckily she used to help her dad and fills in.
The alphahole who owns the estate sees her swimming one night, they get personal, and the story goes from there. I think the billionaire boss had a sleeping disorder and is into kink–or certain kinks. She drives around in a pickup.
I think it might have been a serial bc I never finished it. It was a long time ago. Not sure if this is it or not but the gardener detail made me think of it. I’d like to know the name too!
