STILL DESPERATELY SEEKING THIS BOOK!
Jennifer needs our “book help” so I posted it on Facebook to see if we’d get a bite. We got bites, alright but just from those chomping at the bit to find out what book this is.
GAH!!! Now we ALL want to know this one, and so far, nobody on Facebook has guessed it. But now we’re a huge “following this thread” crew. Please someone out there must know… we need relief!!
She’s looking for this one:
“I once read a blurb about a book and now I can not find it. From what I can recall there is a group ( security maybe) that is protecting a women from a man the call βGhostβ.
Her family was targeted by this man because of something she was working on?? I think No one know what he looks like and at one point he is behind her on a train and she didnβt know. The man tasked with protecting her came from a bad situation and in the blurb he was having a flash back and one of coworkers is asking him if he will be okay and if he can do this. Can anyone help? I really want to read this one!!”

‘Captive‘ by Brighton Walsh is a contemporary romance novel about Madison and Ghost …
“Maddie is kidnapped. One moment she’s waiting for her driver to come pick her up and the next she awakens in a small cabin in the middle of nowhere with a man called Ghost, her kidnapper. Ghost is lethal…massive, tall, tattooed, muscled-up, stacked, and dangerous. But he readily promises that he wonβt kill Maddie. Someone wants her out of the way for awhile and itβs Ghostβs job to make that happen.Ghost knows who wants Maddie to be held hostage and why.”
Brighton Walsh: Hi! Christina Lee pointed me here. I’m the author ofΒ Captive, but I don’t think it’s the book you’re looking for. Pretty much the only similarity is that it has a man named Ghost in it. π Sorry! I hope you find what you’re looking for.
Maryse’s Book Blog: Thank you Brighton!!! The search continues… <— sidenote from Maryse: Brighton’s book (Captive)Β sounds AWESOME so I’m highlighting it here, anyway. Sounds just like what we love to read!! ————–>
Katherine: Ooh the above sounds good & also following to see what the outcome is.

Code Name: Ghost (A Warrior’s Challenge #1) By Natasza Waters maybe?

Navy SEAL Commander Thane Austen (Ghost) treats his women like his missions: in, out and gone. Returning from deployment to find Kayla is his new tactical specialist poses a challenge, one heβs never faced. When the defiant beauty with haunted eyes becomes a serial killerβs target, the Commander has the excuse he needs to close ranks around her. Is it Hell On Wheels in the Black Knights, Inc series by Julie Ann Walker? The main character’s nickname is Ghost.
Ok I have totally read this book but I cannot remember the name!!! ugh! I have searched through my kindle but I just can’t find it. I thought I could give you a little more about what I remember in case it jars anyone’s memory. The girl was a computer whiz & developed some software program that was highly sought after…..to the point of her being in danger for her life. If anyone messed with it, it completely destroyed their computer systems with a virus that only she could disable. She was meeting with a group who wanted to purchase it but things went wrong (of course) & she ended up under protection by some other group. Maybe this will help?
On the missing book- how about Hell On Wheels. Julie Ann walker
Main character was nicknamed Ghost
Is it one of the ghost ops books by Lisa Marie Rice?
If Brandi’s information is from the same book it might be Street Game Ghostwalkers #8 by Christine Feehan.
Brandi’s book sounds (sort of) like Without Regret by RL Mathewson…but doesn’t sound like what OP is looking for…

Could this be Leave Me Breathless by Cherrie Lynn? This is book 3 in the Ross Siblings series and is about Ghost and Macy. I don’t know if he was protecting her, though.
Like everyone else, I think this sounds good and I want to read it.
How about “Love Thy Neighbor” by Belle Aurora?
I’ve been wanting to read a series about a family, brothers, sisters, cousins, one of the Characters (books in the series) name was (I think) Will Montgomery? a football player, has a brother that was an star actor, and another brother (I think) played baseball. Not sure how many books in this series. Very alpha male series. Help Please.
So far, I don’t think it is any of these books. Ghost is not the good guy or the guy the heroine ends up with. At least it didn’t seem that way.
Debbie I think the book you are looking for is the “With Me In Seattle” series by Kristen Proby. “Play With Me” was the one with Will Montgomery- book 3
Kill Me If You Can by James Patterson??
You guys are awesome. Jennifer you are the best. Thanks.
I have one more. a couple years old, a couple married, he dies, she rebuilds her life, falls in love, husband comes back (was in witness protection)? Beach theme area? Please. I only read the first book.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Sounds intriguing… Adding myself to the following list. Lol.
Debbie, it sounds like Connected by Kim Karr.
