Reader Question – The book about the girl in a diner that finds her boyfriend with someone else, and then another guy kisses her (before he’s arrested)…

Brenda needs our book help! This one is… a bit convoluted but sounds like a fun read!! 😉

She asks:

I’m looking to see if you know a book about a girl in a diner and she finds out her boyfriend is with someone else.

and is goes to the washroom and a boy comes in and I think he kisses her and he leaves and when she leaves the bathroom he is being arrested.

and years later she goes into a bar and gets hired to work there and it’s owned by the same man who was arrested…

Anyone have a guess?

Nancy: I def know this book! I can’t Remember the name but the hero’s name is Lincoln and the heroine is maybe maya? She finds out her bf is cheating on her with her bff I think and she’s in the diner and sees Lincoln in the bathroom and has sex with him there. And then he gets arrested when he comes up because he was a thief and wasted time with her so the cops got him. Then they meet again when she gets a job at his bar but she dsnt recognize it’s him since he changed his name. Sorry I don’t remember the name it’s right there!

Maria: This reminds me of More than This by Jay McLean, but he wasn’t arrested, he took her to his prom instead.
