Nicolle needs our book help! Oh I like the sounds of this one. A little turmoil (being suspicious of the one she’s having a relationship with)!! There is a spoiler in the end of the question, so I alerted before it. Read it with caution. 😉

I was wonder if you could help me find a book I have been search a weeks for!
I read it a while maybe a 2 years ago.
It’s about a girl who receives a voice message left on her phone by her sister who has now gone missing and who she hasn’t spoke to in ages. She’s now on a search to find out what happened to her, it leads her to find the H in the book who she starts having a relationship with who is very rich and powerful.
Behind his back she secretly searches his house for clues which he has no idea about.
I think the h has a male best friend which helps her also who saves her later on in the book from drowning when she’s drunk.

I also remember how the h does find out how her sister died which was a suicide but I can’t remember how. She’s felt guilty after as she blamed the H for so long think he had something to do with her death.

Glo: Is it First Touch: A Novel (A First and Last Novel Book 1) by Laurelin Paige? It’s slightly different: it was her best friend, not her sister, but she did have a male friend ( a detective I think) who helped her.

There is a sort of similar storyline in Topping from Below by Laura Reese. (Even though I know you already got the book you wanted, this one also might be up your alley.)
