Reader Question – The book about the girl that falls in love with a married guy…

Diana has a second book for us to guess! This one sounds like pure-angst (and loaded in emotional trouble!) and it ended on a cliffhanger, so Diana is dying to find out how it all ends.

She asks:

Book #2 is a h who falls in love with a married H. He is in a marriage in-name-only (they got married when they were young bc she was prego, but lost the baby) but once his wife sees him getting happy she causes trouble.

I THINK she owns a bakery & he’s a cop. NOT to be confused with the book not that long ago where the h owns a bakery, is on the run (she tells everyone her family is dead), and the H is a cop/fireman/something. He’s super sexy, Italian (?) & has a large family.

Anyway, I read this book YEARS ago & I remember it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger & every once & a while it drives me nuts bc I can’t find it to see how it all ended!

Does this sound remotely familiar to anyone?
