Reader Question – The book about the girl that is captivated by an old haunted house, and leaves a message in the wall…

Nicole needs our book help! Ohhhh I love haunted romance stories. 😉 Though I don’t think either one of them is “haunted” per se, but one lives in the potentially haunted house!!

She asks:

Hi,

I read this book years ago where the woman becomes captivated by the story of this old (supposedly haunted) house.

She leaves a message in a chink in the wall and the guy who lives there finds it. They begin communicating that way, eventually meet and fall in love.. and solve a mystery along the way.

I believe it’s based in the South (Savannah maybe, but I’m not sure about that).

Can you help me out?

CorkDork: The Wish Collector by Mia Sheridan maybe? I remember it taking place in New Orleans maybe? Scarred hero that doesn’t leave his house communicating with a girl that’s a ballerina by leaving notes in the wall around his house. Loved this one!
