Julie needs our help! Oh this one is a doozy, but enough info for us to pin it down. In fact, I have a guess for her!

She asks:

Hi Maryse – I have a reader questions, too.

I’m looking for a book that opens with the h in an airport watching a kid or two and their mom. She boards the plane and meets H, a musician who plays guitar.

Famous musician father of h just passed away and she’s going back to NYC (I think) to manage his bar.

H rooms with h. h is a talented pianist. She’s all messed up over her dad’s death and so she pushes H away even though she’s in love with him.

He has another girlfriend for a while, biding his time, hoping h will come around.

At the end h is pregnant.

Thank you so much! I really enjoy your blog.

I don’t know if this is a full-on rock star book, but it a way, it made me think of (and now I’m thinking it just might be) Sweet Thing: A Novel by Renee Carlino!! One of my favorites from quite a few years ago (my early-indie years), and because of that I can’t  be 100% sure. P.S. Here’s my review.

Anyone more guesses?

Siham: It’s a book by renee carlino Sweet Thing i think

Lisa: I agree. Sounds like Sweetest Thing or Sweet Thing by Renee Carlino.

Julie: That’s it! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to reread it this weekend!

Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved. :D
