Jade needs our book help! Oh I love books about outcasts that find love… *my heart*

She asks:

I read an ebook several years ago about a heroine being a healer to a wounded warrior. It may have been a highland book I’m not sure.

The heroine lives under the watchful eye, and a captor or sorts, of some ruler of a castle. She is a healer but being this is despised and frowned upon. The was talk by her grandmother.

She goes in the woods/forest often to find plants and herbs for poultices/remedies/medcine. The castle/area where she lives is in a long time war/battle with another village/castle/people.

One day when she is in the forest she finds a badly wounded and near death warrior. I’m not certain if he wanders to the door of this cabin in the woods where she often hides or she times him there.

She nurses him back to health. He thinks he is dreaming in her delerium.

Please help me.

Anyone know it?

Jen: Wasn’t this one of Jill Barnett’s? Wild? Wild (Medieval Wedding Trilogy Book 2)

Lisa: I’m reminded of Maya Bank’s McCabe Trilogy, the second book, Seduction of a Highland Lass (The McCabe Trilogy Book 2). Could that be it?

Bev: Battle Eagle: A Dark Ages Scottish Romance (The Warrior Brothers of Skye Book 3) by Jayne Castel? It’s the third book in the Warrior Brothers of Skye series

Shaun: Sounds a little like Amy Harmon’s The Bird and the Sword (The Bird and the Sword Chronicles Book 1).

JulieO: I am pretty sure it is The Wolfe (De Wolfe Pack Book 2) by KATHRYN LE VECQUE. Excellent book. If you are into that type of historical I would highly recommend.
