Not sure date of publication but I read in 2020 on Amazon

A teenage girl, the heroine, falls for her older sister’s boyfriend, the Hero. The girl’s family is really crappy to her, including the older sister (also drinking, drugs, abuse mental and physical of h by whole family, basically white trash).

Older sister only wants to marry the H for money. h is nothing like older sister, h is sweet and
smart. The Hero sees this and wants to break up with his girlfriend the older sister but, stays in
relationship to watch over the h.

He’s in military(think or at least away) but, keeps writing younger sis. They keep up secret relationship,
then when h turns 18 and he gets back from over seas they reveal their relationship to her family
at a party and there’s a big scene.

I think her family kidnaps the h and threaten to kill her if H doesn’t pay ransom because they’ve lost their payday.

Hero rescues her.

Would love help finding it I’ve tried Goodreads and Reddit no luck so far.
