Hillary: I don’t know this book (and sounds like it’s right up my alley), but Edge (Fire on Ice Book 3) by Brenda Rothert is a similar feel. I really love her entire Fire On Ice Series.

Angie: It’s Alex: A Cold Fury Hockey Novel (Carolina Cold Fury Hockey Book 1) book. By Sawyer Bennett. This is the first book out of 5. Great series.
Angie: I don’t think it is Bennett’s Alex. The heroine is a social worker and Alex is forced by the team to improve his image by working with her and a youth program. This one does sound familiar and I’ve read that synopsis recently (either a recent release or it was on sale and being promoted).
Hillary: I agree, I’ve read Alex and it’s not that one either… I’m at a loss and I love hockey books…

It’s not Alex-I know because I looked it up after reading this post and read the entire book in the last 24 hrs while taking care of 2 kids and working full time. Anyways-the premise sounds so familiar-I am certain I have read this book. But are you sure it was hockey and not another sport?
Its not any of Sawyer Bennetts Cold Fury books or Off Season series. And dont think its in Toni Aleo’s Assassins series either…..not sure. But it sounds great and something Id like to read.

It is def not Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson. I have read this one a bazillion times (its my fave hockey romance). The h is a wannabe actress/personal assistant. In fact, it is def not any of Rachel Gibsons Chinooks stories as I have read (and loved) all of them.
