Miranda is looking for this book! Oh wow, I’d almost say this is the start of the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, except for the fact that I don’t remember a troll being a part of the series. Maybe later, mind you… I read a ton of them, in my early paranormal addiction days. π
Oh wait… is it her Merry Gentry series? I haven’t read it yet, but I could swear there’s a troll as one of the Heroes… and that’s probably what kept me from reading it. LOL!! (I was all… hrmmm…Β a troll?… I’ll read her other one instead.) Mind you, this was yeeeeeears ago, so maybe it wasn’t a troll, but there was something about a troll… I could swear.
She asks:
Hi
looking for a book series where the girl is a human who has a special talent that helps to solve crimes. She has been trying to hide it but the vampires eventually discover her and she is kidnapped by the master vampire in the area.
She is eventually helped by a troll and ends up living with him.
Please help as it is driving me crazy not being able to remember.
Thank you.
Anyone have a guess?
