Anna needs our book help! It immediately made me think of… maybe a Carpathian book by Christine Feehan (when she mentioned having to sleep in a cave). Or maybe it was another series? Was it the Demonica series by Larissa Ione? GAH! I can’t remember, but that scene is clear in my head.
Well, either way, those are paranormal (not fantasy) so I’m probably way off. LOL!

I never thought I’d have a Reader Question, but after racking my brain for years now, here’s my last hope:
I’m looking for a Fantasy Romance in which the hero is a mage who must embark on a journey guided by a woman who has no magical abilities. If I remember correctly, she has something of a tomboy and meets him with much suspicion at the beginning.
Of course, as the journey progresses, they fall in love – and that’s it. That’s all I can remember – I have no idea why the hero has to go on his journey, what the conflict is in the story, or what the world is like otherwise. I’ve already googled all possible combination of “Mage/Sorcerer/Magician” and “Journey/mission” etc – so far without success.
One thing does come to mind: I think the first time they got closer was in a cave in the mountains, when they had to sleep together because of the cold. Maybe that rings a bell with someone? That would be really great because I really enjoyed the book at the time.
