LOL! I know what you’re thinking. But this question isn’t for THAT one.
But oh yesssssss this one sounds right up our ugly-cry alley. I mean, considering how much we loved “Me Before You“. Looks like there’s another one (or a few!) out there in the same vein, and Meagan is looking for it.
She asks:
“Hello again! I’m wondering if you can help me haha I read a book a longggg time ago, it was similar to me before you (but different).
The male protagonist was paralyzed, and the female took a job as a nurse assistant to help him, and he wanted nothing to do with her but of course she worked her charm and they fell in love.
Lol that’s all i got! It was SOOO good! But I cannot for the life of me remember the book or author! Any chance you could help?”
I know I posted one a few weeks ago (or maybe even last week?) so I will do a search on my blog, but in the meantime, maybe someone here knows which one she’s looking for? Or maybe our fellow readers have some suggestions for us. This can be the kickstart of a “Me Before You” genre list, and then I’ll make an official one! π P.S. Here’s my review for Me Before You.
And right off the bat, I’m going to bring up Emma Scott’s awesome book, “RUSH (City Lights: New York City)“. He’s not paralyzed, but he’s blind and needs an assistant and it has all of the heartwarming, and infuriating Me Before You touches that we loved. Here’s my review.
Holli: “That’s the plot of The Realm of You: A Novel”
Jeannine: “Falling From the Sky by Sarina Bowen. Sheβs a doctor and heβs an Olympian who canβt move his legs. Itβs an amazing read β my favorite in the series.”
Helen:Β Could it be Adam’s FallΒ by Sandra Brown?
Rachel:Β If itβs a book from a while ago it could be Adam’s FallΒ by Sandra Brown. Itβs exactly that description!

Awesome suggestion, Jeannine!! I’m adding it! π
