Nan needs our book help! Sounds like this might have been a prequel or maybe a novella in an anthology or something? I’m so curious!!

I recently read a novella where the heroine (an orphan) meets the hero and they have a one night stand. I think the hero is a soldier and has to leave shortly after they hooked up.

She falls pregnant and it sort of ends there…
It resembled the premise of the soul sisters (with the heroine’s background ) by Audrey Carlan, but I really can’t remember who the author is.
I think the author was going to write a full story after… unless I’m mistaken.
Please help?

Hi Maryse, I finally remembered… It’s definitely a novella by Audrey Carlan. It’s called ‘Wild Spirit’. The author mentioned that she will write a book about the full story in the future. I like these type of stories and this one stayed with me, but I wanted MORE!
