Karmela needs our book help! Oh boy… I actually was trying to find the right word to describe him for that title. *snort* I wanted to describe him in another way, but that’s not nice. So let’s go with scorned. 😉 I think I remember this book, and it was well loved amongst our crew…
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
I need help in finding the name of a book I read on 2017.
It is about a female lead who did not choose the lead guy then after coming back to her acting/film/theater class, she discovered that the same guy was the new substitute teacher.
During that same day of the discovery, the lead guy asked the girl to perform the final act of Othello (Othello enraged with Desdemona and killed her later).
The female lead acted as Desdemona and the lead guy acted as Othello, and in the opening scene, lead guy immediately kissed her. After the kissing scene, the two broke and spoke their lines but it was obvious that there is tension and unresolved issue between them.
During that time, female lead already regretted her past decision of not choosing the right guy (lead guy) but was already frustrated because the lead guy was already acting like a jerk to her and shames her in front of the class.
I’m hoping someone is familiar with the story to help me.
Thanks!
Anyone have a guess?
