Reader Question – The book about the shadows that attack her, and the boy telling her things in the hospital…

Ashley needs our book help! She says it’s one I reviewed a few years ago, but I don’t remember this one so much? Maybe you do?

Would you maybe be able to help me figure out the title of a book you reviewed like 3 years ago?

In the beginning scene a girl is walking in an alley way and then shadows attack her or something and then she wakes up in the hospital not remembering much and there’s a boy in the hospital telling her things but he’s hiding from her family ?

Her parents owned a restaurant or something? And there’s a scene where she’s in a park and the shadows attack again and the boy is all of a sudden there and saves her and then he takes her somewhere to keep her safe

That’s all i can remember. Any ideas what book this is?

This might be one that I featured the blurb for, but I can’t remember any of these scenes…

Clare: Is it the Mad World trilogy by Christine Zolendz? It’s a long time since I read them but they’re great

Maryse: Oh YEAH!!!!!!!! YES I DID READ that and loved! And… I did review a few years ago. I bet you that’s it, Clare! 😀 Why don’t I remember the shadows? Probably ’cause I was so stuck on the bad boy paranormal rock star. LOL!
