One of our LONG-TIME book buds, Kim, needs our book help! And now I must know which one it is, too!!

Makes me think a bit of Rachel Higginson’s “Opposites Attract” series (where the chefs/restauranteurs were in a foster home together), but we only get to know that as they are adults.

She asks:

I need help finding a book I read awhile ago and I’ve been searching for it since Sunday with no luck. It’s to the point I’m questioning if I just made up book in my head.

It’s a young adult/teen fiction about a girl living on the streets with other kids and she meets a wealthy boy whose family ends up helping her and the boys mother ends up opening a place for homeless kids to live.

I just want someone to confirm that I didn’t dream this up!!!

Help

Anyone have a guess?

Donya: Maybe “Bayward Street” by Addison Jane

Addison Jane: Donya yes! Sounds like it!!

Kim: OH THANK GOODNESS!!!! That’s the book!!!! I’m going to re-read it.  So happy thank you Maryse

Maryse: YAY!!! Another one solved. Thank you so much Donya!! :D
