Sounds like the book series The Soul Summoner by Elicia Hyder in the second book The Siren you learn more about how it hurts them to be apart this is a quote from the second book: “The trigger for my latest headache was the same as the others: Warren Parish had left town. He and I seemed to be bound together by an electrifying force, and when we were apart, paralyzing migraines were the penalty.”
Could be the series from Eileen Wilks. One title is Temping Danger.
This sounds to me like The Soul Summoner series by Elicia Hyder. The two main characters would experience sever migraines when apart. Great series.
Shelly Crane’s Significance series!!!! You would love it if you are craving “old school” UF feels.
I LOVED that series way back when, but her other series (can’t think of the name right now) about the guardian angel-type guy who falls in love with the h was my favorite. 😀
